AG Family Support has helped make a positive and life-changing impact on the lives of hundreds of children and their families. Our services are child-centred and delivered by well-trained and competent professionals, the demand for which has helped our small family enterprise become a national provider of specialist Independent Social Work, Family Support and Child Contact services. Over the past several years, we have closely collaborated with dozens of UK local authorities and NHS Trusts and supported hundreds of children and families.

Moreover, our organisation remains committed to the principles of fairness, respect, inclusion and equal opportunities within the workplace. As such, it shall always support and care for its employees in the spirit of a ‘small family business’ model, upon which it was founded. This reflects an aspiration of our directors:

‘We would like to run a company of which we, ourselves, would love to be employees. Quality before profit. Our workforce is our most precious asset.

Helping families thrive, nationwide.

Our mission is to help families ensure that the child's needs are recognised and consistently met within the home environment and to support caregivers in making and sustaining positive changes to their parenting competencies. We also aim to facilitate meaningful interactions between children and parents/family members they do not live with but are important figures in their lives.

We believe local authorities, and crucially the vulnerable families within the context of statutory child protection procedures or care proceedings settings should have access to specialist services that can help achieve the best possible outcomes for the children involved. AGFS and AGCC have such experience and expertise, and it is easily accessible by those who need it.

We believe all children have the right to family life, whether with their birth parents or extended family members, foster carers or adopters.

We believe all children have the right to live in a safe and nurturing home environment that is free from neglect and abuse and supports the children in achieving their full potential in life.

Our regional FSW/CS Teams and managed by local area managers and supported by our Head Office in Sussex. Our independent social workers engage in specialist family assessments within the UK and worldwide. Our success is not only due to the quality of our work; it's down to our vision of a world where all families have the support and the tools they need to flourish.

Cultural competence transforms lives.

Arthur is a trainer in cultural competency and assessment work with Eastern European families involved in child protection and care proceedings. He is an accredited professional NRPSI Polish-English interpreter and translator.

Arthur’s professional expertise in this area has helped establish our organisation as a leading national provider of ‘culturally competent and culturally sensitive’ independent social work assessment, family support work and child contact services.

We believe cultural competency matters when working with vulnerable individuals. We recognise that an in-depth knowledge of the culture of origin and language proficiency can be the difference between the child remaining with their family or living outside of it.
