 Emily is a Director of AG Family Support and a Mental Health Professional (Occupational Therapist and Psychotherapist) with over 20 years of experience in NHS and free-lance practice (CAMHS and Adult services.) 

She has worked as a Lead Therapist and developed and managed NHS Services.

Most recently, she worked in a lead role developing a pioneering, specialist Women’s Mental Health service treating women with complex mental heath issues and self harming behavior’s.

Emily has also worked extensively in CAMHS and in schools providing solution focused therapeutic input to children with emotional difficulties.

She has also been employed to train health/social care staff and teaching staff to enable them to manage and problem solve children’s challenging behavior.

Lecturing nationally on the topics of working effectively with self- harm and addictive behaviors, both free lance and with The Human Givens College.

Co-author of a self-help book ’49 ways to think yourself well’ as well as contributing chapters and articles in professional journals.
